Adapted for people with reduced mobility

Dar Daïf and its partner agency, Désert et Montagne Maroc, are dedicated and happy  to accommodate any person with reduced mobility in order to ensure the best conditions during their visit. Not only for the accommodation but also to facilitate a real discovery of the natural and cultural treasures of Morocco like its kasbahs, its oases and valleys, its deserts or mountains… as well as to get to know the people’s traditions, arts and crafts.

An accessible and adapted room

Dar Daïf has equipped a room located on the ground floor of the hotel, facing the garden, next to the swimming pool and near the Hammam. This room allows access to anyone with reduced mobility.
A second room is being equipped.

Equipment adapted to special needs.

Dar Daïf and the travel agency Desert and Montagne Maroc, invested in all the equipment necessary for a smooth management of their activities for a person with reduced mobility. Medical bed, accessible toilet and lift for access to the vehicle or Hammam. Special wheelchair for hikes called a “joëlette”, wheelchair equipped with articulated arms to be carried according to the situations. A chair adapted to allow the guest to ride the camel for the unforgettable meeting with the golden dunes and the deep silence of the great Sahara desert.

A team trained to host the disabled person.

In December 2014, part of the Dar Daïf team attended training in  Agadir to host people with disabilities, training organised by an association of the Canary Islands and in partnership with the Rural Tourism Development Network and the Souss Massa Drâa Regional Council. Today, four people are operational: a guide, a controller, a receptionist, a bivouac manager.

A second training phase over 8 days in partnership with the Moroccan company Handi Medic, based in Agadir, specialized in services and equipment for people with reduced mobility. This training took place at Dar Daïf and focused on welcoming people and using the specialized equipment available (nursing bed, lift, vehicle access, Hammam, etc.).

We will do our best to guarantee a secure comfortable stay for you.
